DACIA RATES AS ONE OF THE TOP BRANDS FOR RELIABILITY

Dacia has been rated as one the most reliable car brands out of 36 manufacturers in the 2017 Which? Car Guide – outperforming many well-established and premium brands. Dacia was awarded a five star brand reliability rating for its cars aged between zero to three years as well as its cars aged three to eight years old. The annual Which? Car Guide in 2017, measuring reliability and customer satisfaction, is based on feedback from more than 44,000 UK car owners based on their experience in the last 12 months. As well as breakdowns and faults, it considers repair costs, the time a car is off the road for repair and the most common fault types for each model. Commenting on the results, Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK, said: “We’re delighted that Dacia has been rated as one of the most reliable car brands in the Which? Car Guide 2017. The results are yet another eliability of our models. The simple Dacia range offers great value for money motoring and the most affordable cars in their respective segments.” The owner rating is the latest in a number of accolades that Dacia has received in the UK since launching just over four years ago including What Car?’s ‘Best Small Car under £12,000’ for five consecutive years for the Sandero. Over four million Dacias have been sold since Groupe Renault reintroduced the brand in Europe in 2004.  Dacia was launched in the UK in 2013 and has sold over 100,000 cars to date.  For more information on the full Dacia range please contact us.

It should definitely be on your shortlist if you are after an affordable small SUV." Vincent Tourette, Managing Director, Groupe Renault UK, said of the result: “The Dacia brand is continuing to draw fans, not only in the industry, but also UK drivers with its range of simple, great value cars. The latest analysis from the automotive data experts looked at the total cost of ownership (TCO) to reveal the cars with the lowest cost over the first three years of ownership, including purchase, servicing, fuel and other motoring costs. The New Dacia Sandero 1.0 SCe Access came out first on the list, as well as topping the small car category at £7,419.64 for the first three years, or £206.10 per month. This was closely followed by the mid-range New Dacia Sandero 1.5 dCi Ambiance at £8,059 or £223.87 per month. Other cars in the increasingly popular Dacia range also feature on the list. Coming second in the SUV category is the New Dacia Duster 1.6 Access SCe 115 4x2 with a total cost of ownership over the first three years of £10,405.31 or £289.04 per month. DACIA SANDERO RETAINS CROWN AT WHAT CAR? AWARDS FOR FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

The Dacia Sandero has been awarded ‘Best Small Car for less than £12,000’ for the fifth consecutive year by What Car? at an awards ceremony in London. The Sandero first picked up the award in 2013, following Dacia’s entrance into the UK car market, and again in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Having undergone a series of recent updates for the 2017 Model Year, the supermini has taken the honours once more, underlining its ability to provide a class leading mix of practicality, comfort and low running costs. Its shockingly affordable £5,995 price tag is just half the amount of the category it competes in. Commenting on the decision to give the award to the Sandero for the fifth time, Steve Huntingford, Editor, What Car?, said: “You won’t find this much space for so little in any other new car. A recent facelift brought an updated, higher quality interior. The Sandero also feels better to drive: the handling is tidy enough and the ride is surprisingly comfy for such a cheap car. You can buy a Sandero for less than £6,000, but we recommend spending a little more to get mid-range Ambiance trim. This adds niceties such as air-conditioning, central locking, electric front windows, a DAB radio and Bluetooth. It also replaces the standard black plastic bumpers with body-coloured ones that look a lot smarter. At this price point, only the Ford Ka+ comes close, and although that’s better to drive, the Sandero is more practical and a fair bit cheaper.” Commenting on the result, Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK said: “We’re delighted that the Sandero has been recognised by the judges at What Car? for a fifth consecutive year. The New Sandero offers customers even more value for money with upgrades to the interior and exterior as well as enhanced level of equipment while remaining the most affordable new car in the UK.” The Dacia Sandero is a five-door hatchback, available in three trim levels with a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel engine. Pricing starts from £5,995, making it the lowest priced new car on sale in the UK today. The new interior and exterior upgrades for 2017 provide a more elegant and contemporary finish whilst providing the customer additional value and practicality. The specific Ambiance version chosen by What Car? now comes with more features as standard such as air conditioning and DAB radio – it is the most affordable car on sale in the UK with air conditioning as standard. This is in addition to Bluetooth connectivity, electric windows and remote central locking. The new SCe 75 1.0-litre engine produces the same power as the outgoing 1.2-litre but delivers up to 10 per cent more efficiency. The Dacia brand continues to go from strength to strength with 26,499 new Dacia vehicles sold during 2016, it’s best-ever year of sales in the UK. For more information on the New Sandero, as well as the rest of Dacia’s award-winning range, please call King's Lynn (01553) 772644 or Bedford (01234) 354257.

DACIA DUSTER PULLS AWAY FROM ITS RIVALS AT CARBUYER BEST CARS AWARDS 2017

The Dacia Duster has won further acclaim for its robust and rugged design after it was voted the Best Tow Car and Best Winter Car at the Carbuyer Best Cars Awards 2017. The tough Duster scooped the duo of awards after impressing the Carbuyer.co.uk team of motoring experts with its unrivalled value, surefooted driving dynamics, tough construction and user friendliness. Judged with the needs of car buyers in mind, the annual Carbuyer Best Cars Awards take into account a car’s reliability, price, running costs and how easy it is to live with in addition to how well it performs and handles. The award categories reflect the types of vehicles proven to be the most in-demand by Carbuyer’s readers and follow the straight-talking, jargon-free approach that has made it one of the most respected car review websites in the country. In the course of providing motorists with the very best information and determining the winners of its awards, the Carbuyer team tests more than 500 cars a year. It’s not the first time the Dacia has been praised by the Carbuyer judges. Since the awards were established in 2011, it has twice been judged the best small SUV available. Having undergone a facelift earlier this year, the Duster’s popularity among the British public shows no signs of slowing either. Stuart Milne, Editor, Carbuyer, said: "The Dacia Duster is small, rugged and easy to drive, all of which are perfect attributes if you're driving a car throughout the winter. Choose a four-wheel drive version, and you'll have a car with remarkable grip that'll make short work of the toughest wintery conditions, with little impact on day to day running costs." Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK, said: “These awards perfectly illustrate the robust, rugged nature of the Duster, underlining its ability to easily cope with demanding driving conditions and usage. “We’re delighted that these accolades add to the Duster’s ever-growing trophy cabinet and that its no nonsense approach to motoring and fantastic value continue to hit the spot with the automotive press and public alike.”  The multiple award-winning Duster starts from just £9,495, making it the most affordable SUV on the UK market. The Duster is available in a choice of four trim levels, with 1.6-litre naturally aspirated (SCe 115) or 1.2-litre turbo charged petrol (TCe 125) or 1.5-litre turbodiesel (dCi 110) engines and in 4x2 or 4x4 set-ups.  A six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic gearbox is also available and despite its sophistication compared to rival systems is the most affordable automatic crossover on sale. Dacia has been a real success story in the UK since its launch in 2013 finding over 90,000 customers thanks to the brand’s clear value for money and no-nonsense approach. Duster, the tough crossover, has struck a particular chord with Britons having seen 6,503 sales in the first 10 months of the year alone – up 20 per cent on the same period last year.

Podium finish for Dacia in 2016 Driver Power Dealer After Sales satisfaction survey

Eleven place rise from 13th in 2015 for Dacia in UK’s leading dealer satisfaction surveyDacia ranked ahead of many more established and premium brand   Dacia has been voted number two in the 2016 Auto Express Driver Power Dealer Aftersales Satisfaction survey, proving that you can have incredible value-for-money and an outstanding ownership experience – ahead even of many luxury and premium brands. The ‘shockingly affordable’ brand recorded a score of 93.7 per cent overall satisfaction from customers and rises up eleven places from its 13th ranking in 2015. The brand, known for its value-for-money range, made its debut in the leading dealer survey in 2014 and since then has improved each year. The results in the 2016 Auto Express Driver Power Dealer After Sales Satisfaction survey complement Dacia’s ranking in the publication’s earlier vehicle ownership survey, where it finished in fourth overall, out of 31 marques, with the Logan MCV estate topping the Family Car category.   Brian Walters, Director, Research and Insights at Driver Power said: "Dacia, like its sister brand Renault, improved in all six of the dealer-related attributes, most dramatically in keeping its customers informed on progress and cost of work and the technical knowledge of its workshop employees. Dacia continues to offer the highest rated franchised dealer aftersales experience when it comes to value for money." Mark Crockett, Director of Total Customer Experience, Groupe Renault UK, commented: “Dacia’s vast improvement over last year shows how the brand has really struck a chord with customers by sticking to its core values of no-nonsense motoring, affordability and value for money. It’s gratifying to see that owners are not only happy with their vehicle but also with the service at Dacia dealerships, too. “Dacia’s unrivalled value for money in the UK complements its top quality customer service throughout the car’s lifespan which will continue as the brand grows.” The result is partly attributed to the redefinition of the Groupe Renault UK Services and Quality division in early 2016 to two new departments: Total Customer Experience (TCE) and After Sales. TCE supports a further emphasis on customer experience and performance and demonstrates the brand’s collective commitment to positively driving customer experience throughout the business and its dealer network. The TCE team is now also complemented by a new Customer Journey team in order to deliver the best possible Renault experience to customers, whilst After Sales now has a renewed focus on the commercial operations of parts, accessories, options and services functions. The Dacia brand is no stranger to winning awards with Auto Express Driver Power placing Dacia in its top five best manufacturers for three consecutive years – out of 32 brands featured in the 2016 survey, with customers in particular praising the brand’s reliability. Most recently, Dacia was ranked fourth out of 34 brands for customer satisfaction with a 90 per cent satisfaction score in the 2016 Which? Car survey. Since launching in the UK in just over three years ago, Dacia has won numerous awards, including What Car?’s ‘Best Small Car under £12,000’ for four consecutive years for the Sandero. The Dacia range comprises of the Sandero five-door hatchback, available in three trim levels with a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel engine. Pricing starts from £5,995, making it the most affordable new car on sale in the UK today. The Sandero Stepway is the UK’s most affordable crossover – priced from £8,495.  It combines hatchback practicality with SUV looks and is available in two trim levels with a choice of a petrol or diesel engine. The versatile Dacia Logan MCV is available in three trim levels and comes with a choice of three engines, including a diesel option that returns up to 80.7mpg (NEDC combined cycle). The Logan MCV is priced from £6,995 OTR.  The multiple award-winning Duster is the most affordable SUV on the UK market today – priced from £9,495. Duster is available in a choice of three trim levels, with 1.6-litre petrol or 1.5-litre dCi diesel engines and in 4x2 or 4x4 set-ups. In the ten years since relaunching in Europe, Dacia has sold more than four million vehicles in Europe. Over 78,000 Dacia models have been sold in the UK since its launch in January 2013.

Dacia voted fourth best manufacturer in Auto Express 2016 Awards

Dacia voted fourth out of 32 brands in Auto Express Driver Power 2016 Awards Improves on fifth place in last year’s leading ownership survey Dacia in the top five manufacturers for the third consecutive year Dacia Logan MCV voted Best Family Car by Driver Power judges Dacia has been voted the fourth best brand in the Auto Express Driver Power 2016 Awards, improving on its impressive fifth place finish in last year’s survey and eclipsing many luxury and premium brands. The ‘shockingly affordable’ brand recorded a score of 90.43 per cent overall after the feedback of satisfied owners saw Dacia triumph against many of the other 31 ranked brands. Since Dacia’s debut in the leading ownership survey in 2014, the brand has featured in the top five best manufacturers. The fourth overall finish follows the manufacturer winning its first ever category in the annual Auto Express Driver Power Awards, with the capacious and versatile Logan MCV estate topping the overall category for Best Family Car in this year’s survey. Brian Walters, Director, Research and Insights at Driver Power said: "Dacia owners praised their vehicles for reliability, the single most important factor in vehicle satisfaction according to Driver Power respondents.” Walters continued: “Vehicle reliability is critical for any brand, but it is especially so for a relatively new brand establishing a foothold in the UK market, such as Dacia. Dacia’s performance in the 2016 Driver Power should be an invitation to new-vehicle buyers in the UK to add Dacia to their shopping list." Commenting on Dacia’s placing in the top five best manufacturers for the third consecutive year, Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia, said: “Not only sustaining, but improving on our position shows that Dacia continues to go from strength to strength and is able to complement the unrivalled affordability of its vehicles with levels of quality and owner satisfaction that are amongst the very best that drivers can experience.” In the ten years since relaunching in Europe, Dacia has sold more than 3,500,000 vehicles in Europe and the Mediterranean basin. In the UK in 2015, Dacia sold 26,228 vehicles, an increase of 10 per cent compared to 2014. Over 74,000 Dacia models have been sold in the UK since its launch in January 2013.
