Latest News: The New Stelvio Ti model is now available to order at Motorvogue.  The historic “Turismo Internazionale”, synonomous with Alfa Romeo’s past as a true GT car for covering large distances in comfort and style, makes its debut on the Stelvio range.  Having first broken cover at the Geneva Motor Show, the Stelvio Ti is now making its way to the UK roads priced from £47,345 OTR. Replacing the Milano Edizione at the top of the Stelvio range, the Stelvio Ti combines performance with luxury with the addition of carbon fibre accents, sports suspension and a host of technology as standard.  The carbon fibre ‘V’ grille and wing mirrors are complemented by dark "Stelvio" and" Q4" badges, red brake calipers and new 20-inch alloy wheels, exclusive to the Ti.  Inside adds a leather dashboard and laminated glass, offering additional soundproofing, a hands-free tailgate, Active Cruise Control and Frequency Selective Damping to the comprehensive standard equipment list. While active suspension is available as an option, the Stelvio Ti comes complete with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) to improve handling while still retaining comfort.  The FSD uses a frequency sensitive valve to hydraulically change the level of damping according to the road inputs. The new Stelvio Ti will be available with a choice of two powerplants, the 280hp petrol and the 210hp diesel engines. While the 280hp 2.0-litre Turbo petrol powerplant delivers peak torque of 400Nm at 2,250 rpm it is also best in class in terms of acceleration, powering from zero to 62mph in just 5.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 143mph. The 2.0-litre diesel engine uses its 210hp to power the car from zero to 62mph in 6.6 seconds before going on to a top speed of 134mph. Both 4-cylinder units are built entirely from aluminium with a carbon fibre drive shaft and are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive. The new Stelvio Ti is available to order now, priced from £47,345 OTR for the Stelvio Ti 2.2 Turbo Diesel 210hp.

The first time you see an Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, you'll say 'the sky's the limit'. This masterpiece in style and performance is born from the purest Alfa Romeo spirit: a project that wants to show with enthusiasm a supercar dream. A unique car, created to excite the driver, both on the tracks and on the road.  From now on, every passionate driver's dream can be realised.

The Alfa Romeo 4C design takes its inspiration from our rich history , taking styling cues and inspiration from the unmistakable style of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Built in Modena, Alfa Romeo 4C combines two unique qualities: Alfa engineering  & Maserati manufacturing, in one. 4C. Pure Alfa Romeo.

The open air feel of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is the result of a natural ‘evolutionary development’ that originates from the Coupé version. Its creation is based on very specific technological and stylistic choices that best enhance the feeling of freedom without forsaking any of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider's sporting DNA. The transformation of the rear endows it with greater strength and muscularity, the redesigned rear engine cover leaves room for a bonnet and is shaped to house the air intakes, beneath which one can sense the presence of the car's throbbing heart.

As with the exterior, everything on the inside has a precise function and expresses the racing spirit of Alfa Romeo. Such as, the unique body cell  which is made from a one-piece shell of carbon fibre.
To ensure that everything is within the drivers reach, the steering wheel is moulded at the bottom which enables the controls. Aluminium pedals and heel guards form the last details of a true sporting character.  The seats incorporate a reinforced composite structure and special lightweight padding, helping to maintain the racing position whilst driving.

Every detail of Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is conceived to ignite passion for sportiness and open-air driving. The alloy wheels go from 17" to 19", mounted in different sizes on the front and on the rear, to ensure a perfect balance and the best dynamics. Brembo brake callipers with 4 small pistons are available in 4 colours: grey, black, yellow and, of course, red. The Bi-Xenon headlights, the carbon fibre Halo roll bar (available as an option), the air intakes on the side in carbon fibre, the twin tailpipes, the sports seats and the single carbon fibre body all go together to make the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider a small, yet impressive Alfa Romeo masterpiece.

Reactivity is paramount in cars designed to astonish. The  ALFA TCT twin dry semi=-automatic clutch with launch control optimises gear changing and acceleration, while fun on the race track is guaranteed by simply flicking the intuitive Alfa D.N.A. selector to Race mode.

The ALFA TCT dry twin-clutch transmission ensures the fastest possible gear shifts under all conditions and features an innovative Launch Control function to optimise vehicle systems and exploit all available acceleration.

Alfa Romeo 4C is designed around the driver. The Alfa D.N.A. selector has three settings (Dynamic, Natural and All Weather) for adapting the car to the road conditions and the current driving style. What’s more, the exclusive Race mode is designed to further enhance the driving experience on the racing track. Selecting the Dynamic position will cut out the stability control system and the ABS, handing full control of the car over to the driver. The full digital instrument panel with TFT display changes configuration to provide the information most pertinent to the specific Alfa D.N.A. setting.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider's 1750cc turbocharged power plant is based on state-of-the-art engine technology. And Alfa Romeo's engineers have crafted this technology to be even more efficient and powerful.
This small but perfectly formed solution delivers unprecedented sporting performance, worthy of any supercar, while everything is engineered to deliver the purest Alfa Romeo emotion at the wheel: drive it to believe it.

The four-cylinder, direct injection, 240hp, 1750 Turbo petrol engine, entirely made of aluminium, brings extraordinary performance with a peak torque of 350 Nm, 80% of which is available at 1700 rpm. Alfa Romeo 4C has a top speed in excess of 160 mph and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds.

The Alfa Romeo 4C’s advanced scavenging technology maximises torque at low engine speeds and delivers more power in response to driver input.
To implement the scavenging technology, the engine is also equipped with a new generation turbocharger and a pulse converter exhaust manifold.

Like all leading competition cars, the Alfa Romeo 4C uses an automatic cool-down system to protect its turbocharger. Switching off the engine would normally cause the immediate stoppage of oil circulation, causing a loss of lubrication capacity and possible damage to the engine. With the after-run-pump, the oil keeps circulating through the turbocharger until it has cooled.

Carbon fibre is the most high-tech material in automotive engineering. The chassis of Alfa Romeo 4C Spider – weighing only 73 kilograms – is a single carbon fibre body. The crankcase and the front and rear frames are made of aluminium, combining solidity and extreme lightness. The outer body is made of SMC composite: a low-density material that combines lightness (it is 20% lighter than steel) and dimensional stability comparable to steel that is superior to aluminium.

With its mid-engine configuration and extremely sophisticated suspension layout (superimposed wishbone up front, evolved McPherson on the rear), Alfa Romeo 4C is perfectly balanced and masters the road at any speed. The powerful braking system, with self-ventilating perforated discs and Brembo callipers on the front wheels, allows Alfa Romeo 4C to stop from 62 mph to 0 in only 36 metres.  Furthermore, Alfa Romeo 4C fits different diameter tyres on the front and rear, to ensure perfect grip on all types of roads, in any weather.

The total dry weight of the car is only 940 kilograms. This is why Alfa Romeo 4C Spider has one of the lowest weight/power ratios: less than 4 kg/hp. With the comeback of rear-wheel drive configuration, Alfa Romeo 4C secures a great driving experience and unmistakable racing feel.
