THE 500 DOLCEVITA SPECIAL EDITION CELEBRATES THE 62ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE ICONIC FIAT

The Fiat 500 Dolcevita, a special edition that sports white livery, red and white beauty line and "Dolcevita" badgeTwo versions are available: convertible with a white-and-blue striped top and red "500" badge and hatchback with a fixed glass roofThe interior sports a striking nautical wood dashboard and the new ivory leather seats with red piping and embroidered 500 logoThis July Fiat will be celebrating the anniversary of the 500, the authentic Italian masterpiece that got the people of Europe moving in the 1950s and still continues to amaze today. The 500 Dolcevita is debuting to celebrate the Italian icon. 500 Dolcevita, refined elegance for a masterpieceThe new 500 Dolcevita special edition holds the same values that underlie the most authentic Italian style that is embodied by the "Dolce Vita" years. As befitting for a timeless beauty, the new car sports an exclusive Bossa Nova White livery, enhanced by a red and white beauty line drawn around the entire silhouette. Reflecting the elegance of the era, the new 500 has a cursive "Dolcevita" chrome badge on the rear that perfectly complements the chrome bonnet line, the chrome door mirror covers and the body coloured side moulding with the "500" logo. The look is completed by elegant 16-inch white alloy wheels and fixed glass roof on the hatchback version. The convertible version of the 500 Dolcevita, for the first time in the history of the model, is fitted with a white-and-blue striped top with embroidered red "500" logo inspired by the deck chairs and beach umbrellas of the Italian Riviera. The same refined elegance is applied to the interior of the 500 Dolcevita with its wooden dashboard and contrasting beauty line. To ensure stability, flexibility and perfect resistance over time, the wood is applied onto an ultra-light carbon shell. The passenger compartment is the perfect match for the exteriors and is made even more exclusive by new ivory-coloured leather seats with embroidered 500 badge, red piping and a wicker-inspired central panel. The ivory colour scheme is mirrored in the floor mats. This special edition embodies the values of Italian Glamour and the lifestyle involving fashion, design, art and the aesthetics of everyday life, taste and imagination. These are the ingredients of the identity and charm of Italy, of which the 500 is one of the most famous symbols in the world. The anniversary is even more exciting because this year it coincides with the 120thyear of the Fiat brand, a milestone that only a few car manufacturers in the world can boast. Available in two configurations, hatchback and convertible, the 500 Dolcevita special edition includes the 69hp 1.2-litre engine with manual transmission. It can also be paired with the optional Dualogic gearbox. Ordering will open at the end of July, with prices starting from £17,995 for the hatchback version, and £20,995 for the convertible. A great weekend at the Motorvogue sponsored Bedford Festival of Motoring and Kite Festival.

Motorvogue were delighted to be the main sponsor of the first Bedford Festival of Motoring which took place last weekend (June 1st & 2nd) along the beautiful Embankment, alongside the Bedford International Kite Festival being held in Russell Park. The event was organised by Bedford Borough Council and was the first festival in the town to embrace all things motoring in the UK, with special displays of vehicles, ultra-modern, luxurious and bizarre, iconic and soon forgotten, motor sport in all their guises, motorcycles and bicycles and commercial, agricultural and military and claasic cars. As the main sponsor for the event, Motorvogue exhibited models from our extensive range available at Interchange Retail Park location, including Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Hyundai, SEAT and Renault, plus Dacia and Citroen who are located just outside of Bedford in Clapham.  The weather was very kind to us, with the sun shining for most of the weekend.  We were busy throughout the weekend with people interested in looking at our models and finding out more about them. Fortunately there was enough wind for the stunning kites to fly, and the weekend was a great success all round. With many other attractions including a funfair, trade stands, craft marquees and music.

PANDA CROSS DOMINATES CROSSOVER CATEGORY AT 4X4 MAGAZINE AWARDS 2019

The Fiat Panda Cross has once again topped the Crossover category in this year's 4x4 Magazine ‘4x4 of the Year 2019 awards'. For the second year running, the Fiat Panda has fought off tough competition, in an ever growing sector, to be crowned the Best Crossover. Judges praised it for its ‘rorty’ engine, traction finding ability and fun factor, never failing to put a smile on their faces. "The Fiat Panda Cross is an immensely capable car and this is something that its loyal owners have always known and appreciated," said Andrea Lo Presti, Fiat UK marketing director. "With a panel of 4x4 experts agreeing that point too, it makes this win for the Panda even more significant.” Alan Kidd, editor of 4x4 Magazine, commented “I don't think there's any vehicle that's won its class so consistently down the years as the Panda Cross. The market has been ever changing, but it's been wonderfully consistent in what it offers – while also getting better all the time." Praising its off-road ability he continues, “It's not built to be the ultimate all-terrain vehicle, but its light weight and tidy proportions mean it's incredibly manoeuvrable and sure-footed on rough ground. You have to go a long way to find its limits." The 4x4 Magazine, the UK’s only dedicated 4x4 and pick-up magazine, 4x4 of the Year awards have been defining the segment for more than 25 years. A team of experienced 4x4 specialists assess the now broad spectrum of vehicles that make up this class, covering everything from comfort, quality, off-road performance, purchase and ownership costs. This impressive win joins the Fiat Panda’s long list of accomplishments including being the first city car to feature 4WD technology, the first city car to climb to an altitude of 5,200m and reach the Everest base camp as well as being the first natural gas fuelled city car to be produced on a large scale. To celebrate the award win, Fiat is launching the new Fiat Panda Waze 4X4. It combines the looks and functionality of the popular Waze model with the award-winning 4X4 running gear. For a limited time, customers will be able to purchase the Waze 4X4, with 0.9-litre Twinair 90hp engine and 4X4 capability (valued at £3,200), for the same price as the two-wheel-drive Panda Waze 1.2 69hp, £12,265 OTR.
